THE PATH FOR INCLUSION

Testimonials

"For me, the campus has been a meeting point with other people with similar situations between us and that has allowed us to share experiences about our daily lives in a comfortable environment to talk about it; we have even been able to make friends with each other. On a general level, I think that in addition to learning more about ourselves, we have been able to grow as a collective and be able to raise awareness about Tourette Syndrome more effectively."

"The European Campus 2025 in Madrid, for me has been a completely enriching, fun and interesting experience in which I have been able to forge bonds with many new and exceptional people. The truth is, I hope it can be repeated later, since as I have mentioned it has been a great experience.

"I really enjoyed participating on campus. It was very interesting because I had the opportunity to meet people from different countries and different realities but all with the same issues."

The experience was very positive. We learned skills that will not only help others, but also help us treat ourselves with more empathy and kindness. We tend to forget that our experiences, good or bad, may not be so individual. And this space of security, exchange and work for a goal was enriching in every way. This is true for both the campus and the platform. I am very grateful for these opportunities and this is certainly the future of Tourette syndrome advocacy.

"The Path for Inclusion Methodological Guide collects up-to-date information on Tourette's disorder and associated problems. Written in a close and direct way, it makes reading enjoyable. It also helps us understand how people with Tourette's feel and what we can do to create more open and respectful spaces. It is a practical material, designed so that any professional can start applying simple ideas from the first moment. Overall it is a useful and very accessible guide."

"I think it is a very complete and accessible guide, with an empathetic approach in the way it explains what the syndrome is, how it manifests itself and what strategies exist to deal with it, not only in young people with Tourette's, but also in their families and in the people in their social environment. What has caught my attention the most is the part dedicated to certification through YouthPass, as it represents an excellent opportunity for the development of a wide variety of skills."

From a psychological perspective, I find the Path for Inclusion guide to be a very comprehensive and accessible resource, especially because of the clear and respectful way in which it addresses Tourette syndrome. It explains very well how it is experienced on an individual level—the emotions, daily challenges, self-perception—and also how it impacts the family and social environment, which helps to generate a broader and more empathetic understanding. In addition, the inclusive approach it proposes is in line with current principles of educational psychology, emphasizing the creation of safe, accessible, and emotionally healthy spaces. I believe it is a tool that not only informs, but also invites reflection and better support for individuals, offering useful guidance for professionals, educators, and families alike. In short, it is a guide that adds to humanity and good practices.
