DIGITAL BADGES

6 digital badges (one for each area and a global one) that validate the training achieved by each young person with TS. Young people with TS can integrate these badges in their Europass CVs to accredit competences and enhance their chances of inclusion in the labor market.

Digital badges are like little trophies that you earn by overcoming challenges and learning new things.

Digital badges not only show that you’ve earned a real-life achievement, but they also include information about what you learned, who taught you, and how, when, and where you learned it.

If you’re a person who likes to learn and can’t stop training, digital badges are a new way for everyone to see, at a glance, everything you’ve learned.

Youth can earn a total of six badges:

LEISURE AND FREE TIME

Work on how to deal with certain emotions that occur when participating in recreational social activities (such as enthusiasm, fear or anger) to recognize and manage them.

ENVIRONMENT

Encourages behaviours that may occur in environments where those affected relate to nature, learning to value it and connect with it since this link helps to manage stress and favours emotional well-being.

VOLUNTEERING

It offers the possibility of working on the emotions born within group volunteer activities, such as collaborating in associations or social projects. In this specific case, there is a risk that more authoritarian behaviors will emerge on the part of individuals, but also fears and insecurities such as fear of failure, so personal confidence and a sense of belonging to a group must be encouraged.

WORK RELANTIONSHIP

Stress and frustration are the most common situations in which anyone can be immersed in a work environment or at the time of active job search, so these challenges must be faced emotionally by working on resilience skills.

PERSONAL RELANTHIONSHIP

It works on emotional management linked to interaction with other individuals, so it will help to find a healthy way of relating to both people who have Tourette’s syndrome and those who do not.

PROMOTER OF THE CHANGE

Promoter of Change means being a positive role model for other young people with Tourette Syndrome. You have the opportunity to use your personal experience to inspire, support, and empower other young people.
